Proving Unit (MARPD690) Proving Unit (MARPD690)

The PD690 proving unit produces 690V AC/DC to enable voltage indicators to be fully checked.

This unit is also designed for indicators with 230V and 415/440V AC or DC detection ranges, such as the Martindale

The PD690 is one of the few proving units to check indicators with ranges above 250V. The PD690 can also check Drummond and other filament test lamps as its output is sufficient to illuminate the bulb. Not designed for use with multimeters.

Safety Voltage Indicator (MARVI13700G) Safety Voltage Indicator (MARVI13700G)

This GS38 compliant contact voltage indicator is designed to rapidly and safely check for AC and DC voltages from 50V to 600V. The bright, long life neon indicators give clear and immediate display of the voltage level range.

The tough, moulded case construction combined with heavy duty, double insulated leads which terminate into a lockable and retractable prod sheath and a substantial finger guard makes this a very reliable and safe instrument.

The return lead incorporates an HRC fuse which, together with the retractable test prods, ensures that the unit fully meets all the GS38, M15/4, HSE and EN61010 recommendations.

Non Contact Voltage Indicator TEK100 Non Contact Voltage Indicator TEK100

The TEK100 is easy in use and is suitable for detecting 100V to 600V AC without requiring physical contact with the conductor.

The presence of any voltage between 100V and 600V AC will generate an audible tone, together with a red visual indication.

The integral self test activates the sensor in the tip of the tester at 50Hz as well as checking the battery and LED. This proves that the unit is fully functional and avoids the need for a separate proving unit

Non Contact Voltage & Magnetic Pole Indicator TEK200 Non Contact Voltage & Magnetic Pole Indicator TEK200

The TEK200 detects the presence and polarity of magnetic fields produced by indicators, relays, solenoids and transformers.

The integral self test activates the sensor in the tip of the tester at 50Hz as well as checking the battery and LED. This proves that the unit is fully functional and avoids the need for a separate proving unit.

In addition, this unit incorporates all the capability of the TEK100 voltage indicator detailed above producing a versatile instrument in a slim and ergonomic ABS housing.

Drummond Test Lamp MTL7 (DRUMTL7) Drummond Test Lamp MTL7 (DRUMTL7)

The classic John Drummond test lamp is fuse protected and complies with GS38. This makes it ideal for low cost voltage testing.

The lamp gives clear positive indication of the presence of voltage and is not sensitive to the presence of low voltage interference.

IMPORTANT: Voltage indicators should always be tested with a proving unit or known live source before and after use.

Replacement Bulb (DRUMTL1000) £3.05

Drummond Test Lamp MTL9C (DRUMTL9C) Drummond Test Lamp MTL9C (DRUMTL9C)

The 9C incorporates a continuity tester attached to the test lead. This allows rapid convenient proof of the continuity of the test level circuit, showing that neither bulb nor fuses have blown.

Test lamps should always be proved safe both before and after use. This can be done by testing on a known live circuit, using the continuity tester or through the recommended proving unit.

Dual mode indication via LED and bulb gives extra back up in case of bulb failure.

IMPORTANT: Voltage indicators should always be tested with a proving unit or known live source before and after use.
