To improve detection it has two extra detection modes.

Direct connect mode - with the receiver, this provides the user with the ultimate locating and tracing device. Connected directly to an accessible cable/pipe end, a pulsed signal can be traced up to 350m.

Induced mode - Where direct connection is impractical, the unit can be placed on the ground nearby (but not above). The pulsed signal then radiates along the pipe/cable allowing detection.

The unit can also be placed on a meter or street light to induce a signal into local cables.

Complete with ground stake, leads, clips and plugs.
Rugged case.
Weight only 2.5kgs.
